The Head of Service, Bayelsa State, Dr. Wisdom Ebiye Sawyer, mni, has been honoured with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his outstanding support and contributions to healthcare operational services and the welfare of civil servants in the state.
The award was presented during a courtesy visit by Dr. Ebikedoumene Mieyefa, representatives of the House Officers Forum, Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa, to the Office of the Head of Service at the Secretariat Complex, Annex 6.
In his opening remark, Dr. Sawyer expressed appreciation for the recognition, noting that the award serves as motivation to continue to promote policies and initiatives that enhance effective healthcare services and staff welfare across the state.
He reaffirmed the commitment of his office to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure improved service delivery and sustainable development in the public sector.
While Presenting the award, Dr. Ebikedoumene Mieyefa commended the Head of Service for his unwavering commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery and improving the welfare of workers, particularly within the civil service.
