He further stated that arrears arising from the implementation of the previous minimum wage would also be paid to affected officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Head of Service expressed profound appreciation to Governor, Senator, Douye Diri for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of workers in the state, describing him as a worker-friendly governor whose administration continues to prioritize the well-being of public servants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Fred Doubra Kemedei, FCA, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, stated that the committee&#8217;s report on the revised remuneration of Bayelsa State Fire Service personnel had been submitted to the Head of Service for further consideration and necessary action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Kemedei noted that the committee recommended and resolved that personnel of the Bayelsa State Fire Service should be remunerated under the Consolidated Para-Military Salary Structure (CONPASS), which is consistent with the salary structure currently applicable to personnel of the Federal Fire Service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In line with the
